Back in November of 2008 I came across the large scale work of French photographer JR when I noticed his 28 millimeter Women series focusing on the Favela`s of Rio, Brazil.  This time he has focused on his home city of Paris with a photographic project called Women Are Heroes. An accompanying short film is brilliantly shot and a pleasure to view.

Taking photos of bicycles is hard. There is so many angles to get at and so many ways for the photo to come out looking wack. These photos that were taken recently by our sometime inhouse photographer Ryan Carney are fine examples of Macro shots with all the angles covered. Click thru the image to view them on our Flickr page for larger versions.
