Dave got me David McCandless‘ book The Visual Miscellaneum for Christmas this past year, even though we had agreed on no gifts, because he had seen me obsessing over my new love of infographics. That love has only grown since, and I was super excited to see this link to a TED talk given by him this summer.

Here’s the link to the actual, legible PDF on CMO.com. It’s definitely worth a read, even as a refresher, but you might pull some insight out, too.

Disney Bros Studios custom Storyboard Book!

I have to post these pictures because I think these custom Storyboard Books came out amazing. I wish we had a photo of the inside back cover, where Disney played off of the regular Storyboard Book “modern rules of narrative storytelling” with their own Disney-fied story tips.

A big THANKS to the awesome crew over at Pinball Publishing out in PDX for working with us on this project and taking these pictures for us. Here’s what the regular Storyboard Book looks like, in case you’re new to the game.
